Roulette Home of Hockey

Roulette Home of Hockey

Roulette Home of Hockey is a new proprietary online roulette game that was developed as an exclusive for the Scandinavian/Baltic markets. This diverse table game can be found only on Nordic Bet Casino and associated sites, where you can also find a mobile-optimized version of the game with adjusted controls. Based on the popular European variation of roulette, the Roulette Home of Hockey takes a classic table game and spices it up with improved graphics and more betting options.

The devil’s in the details as they say, and this game proves it. As you play, you notice all sorts of useful features that aren’t very obvious to spot but they do improve the playing experience greatly. Do you want to know how profitable is your bet? Just hover a chip over a table area and the information will automatically pop up. You want to know which numbers run hot or what is the return rate on a red/black payout? Just pull up the side-menu on the right side of your screen and you’ll get all the stats you need.

Apart from being very user-friendly, Roulette Home of Hockey is also a game that can speak to any type of roulette player. Namely, this classic game has both low and high betting limits as well as the additional “racetrack” bets which many more experienced punters seek. No matter your betting expertise or the size of your budget, this exclusive game will be able to answer all your playing needs.

More Bets Than a Hockey Game

The Roulette Home of Hockey is played like any online roulette game. To get started, you must first choose one of the 11 chip values on the screen. The minimum chip size is 0.10 credits but you also have chips of up to 500 credits. With these chips, you can place bets that start at 0.10 credits per round and go up to a maximum of 5,000 credits per spin.

The main betting grid is where you can find the standard roulette bets. At this grid, you can bet on individual numbers by placing a chip on them but also on groups of numbers. The options are to bet on two adjacent numbers (split bet), three numbers in a row (street bet), four adjacent numbers (corner bet), as well as two neighboring “streets” (line) bet. To find these multi-number bets, just hover your chips over the corners or outside borders of the number fields and the game will automatically highlight the numbers included in the bet. Payouts in this group of bets start at 35:1 for guessing a single number and they end at 5:1 for a line bet (two “streets”).

On the main betting grid, you can also bet on the first, second, and third column of numbers as well as the first (1-12), second (13-24), and third (14-36) dozen of numbers. Both bets pay 2:1 and lose if a 0 is hit on the wheel. Below these betting options, you have the red/black, odd/even/ and high/low bets. These are all bets on two possible outcomes like whether the next number will be odd or even or high (1-18) or low (19-36). Thus, they all offer payouts of 1:1. And again, if a 0 is hit, these bets will lose.

Apart from the standard bets, the Roulette Home of Hockey also has the special “orphelins”/”voisins” bets you can usually find on a French Roulette table. These bets can be seen by default if you’re playing on your desktop but have to be specially requested by pressing the “racetrack” button when playing on a mobile phone or tablet. All of the bets in this “racetrack” section let you bet on a cluster of numbers (as they appear on the wheel), with the maximum being up to seventeen different numbers at once for the price of seven.

For instance, the zero bet lets you place a bet on the 0 and six numbers that are found next to it on the wheel. The “voisins” bet also does this but ups the stakes, letting you bet on 16 neighboring numbers together with the 0. The Tiers bet, however, lets you bet on the lower third of the wheel, giving you 12 numbers for the price of 6. And the last option, the “Orphelins” (orphans in English) bet, lets you bet on the remaining 8 numbers on the wheel that weren’t covered by the previous bets. Payouts for these fixed bets are the same as with other bets in the game, but they vary according to how many numbers you are betting on at once.

For even more opportunities, you can also check out the “favorites” menu where other fixed betting options are available. At this menu, you can find fixed bets on groups of two numbers like 8/11, 18/18, and 28/21, or bets tied to one number like 1, 11, 21, and 31. You can also record your own favorite bets for quick access within only two clicks.

Spin Without Money

Almost every game you can find in a casino online can be tried for free and so can Roulette Home of Hockey. This table game is also available as a free demo version which comes with a demo cash balance that can be used to try out various bet sizes. If you want to check out the different bets or test any feature in the game, you can use our free Roulette Home of Hockey table game you see on this page. You can play this demo game for as many happy hours as you want, without worrying about whether you have any money.

But if you want to make some real cash with the game, you can only win some when you play for real money at an online casino site. Registering with an online casino couldn’t be simpler in today’s times as you only need to have an e-mail address and fill in some details about your account to sign up. As soon as you create an account, the only step left to take before you can play the game for real cash is to deposit some money through your cashier/banking menu. However, before you take any of those steps, always check whether the casino you want to register with has a license from a trusted licensing body. Unlicensed casinos are definitely to be avoided, especially when you have so many better options waiting for you.

For Fans of French Roulette

Although the game’s info sheet says that this is a variation of European Roulette, the game is actually more similar to the varied game of French Roulette.  The special “voisins”/”orphelins” bets can mostly be found in French versions of the game while most European variants just offer the standard bet grid and a single-0 wheel. So, if you ever want to enjoy a similar game to the Roulette Home of Hockey but perhaps one with different betting limits, the French versions of roulette would be the ones to look for. As a plus, some of these variations also come with the “La Partage” rule, which pays half your money back if you bet on a 50/50 bet (red/black, odd/even, etc.) and the 0 is hit.

Play Like a High-Roller

The Roulette Home of Hockey is an improved roulette variation that will appeal to any fan of French and European versions of the game. With fast and sleek gameplay, better on-screen controls, and all sorts of fixed betting options added to the mix, this table game can be enjoyed greatly by both seasoned professionals as well as novice players. And with its high limits of up to 5,000 credits per round, you can even snatch some big prizes with a single roulette spin while playing this game.
